An update to the Windows version of Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition is now available.

Crash Fixes:
* Improved multiplayer stability
* Fixed Black Pits sword crash
* Fixed crash when manipulating portrait files

Features:
* Damage notifications change colour depending on type of damage done
* Option to turn off coloured player circles (enables original green circles)
* Added roll total to ability screen when creating a new character
* Elven Chain Mail now obtainable
* Yeslick may rejoin the party in Jopalin's Tavern
* Black Lily purchases stolen goods
* UI improvements

Bug Fixes:
* Resolved random respawns occurring too often
* Stat modifications for unidentified items now appear
* Issue with Baeloth not returning solved (Black Pits)
* Bounty Hunter class gains proper skill points
* Eldoth and Skie removing and joining problem solved
* Fixed issue with certain spell portrait icons not being removed
* Officer Vai will only purchase bandit scalps
* Scroll case capacity increased
* Improved chatbar (Multiplayer)

* Player will no longer have guards summoned when near previously opened containers
* Archers and Druids may now equip Ankheg Plate Mail
* Characters speak to the player more quickly in tutorial
* Characters respond appropriately during Obe's Combat tutorial
* Charmed NPCs will give the player their promised gifts
* Lightmap for Kagain's shop has been updated
* Cat familiar now has an attack
* Imp familiar polymorphing to ogre and back works
* Wand of Polymorphing's range has been increased
* Improved Aldeth's Merchant League quest
* Simmeon now gives XP
* Some weapons not flagged as magical now are
* Casson's body quest has been touched up
* Resolved issue with Kivan leaving the party
* Characters with strength less than 5 are now able to complete the tutorial
* Monks now able to complete the tutorial
* Music restored to the Friendly Arm Inn

    I actually only got this bug yesterday while playing a new game. I don't remember it happening during my first playthrough.

    I didn't realize these were even in the game (though I suppose the Longbow +2 might be the Longbow of Marksmanship). Has anyone found these?

    Loving the new patch! I can actually see the numbers in my inventory now! I have bad vision and the numbers were SO very small and similar looking.

    And yes I know its sad that from this huge patch the thing I love the most is the fact that they made the numbers in the inventory and elsewhere bigger and easier to differentiate.

    I'm almost positive they're not in the main campaign, but I'm guessing you can get them in the Black Pits (I haven't played the black pits yet)?

    * "ogre" and not "orge"
    * "The Vampire's Revenge" and not "The Vampires Revenge"

    Good point, I forgot that Black Pits uses some different items.

    I'm really disappointed that the Ankheg got attention to remove Druid and Archer restrictions, but that the overpowered-ness, because of the ability to now equip + protections items with this armor, was not addressed.

    Ankheg plate + ring of protection +1 is now a more powerful combo than practical defense +3, which is one of the most difficult armor to obtain (basement of Durlags). Practical defense sits in my bags, completely worthless.

    Please add this back as an item excluded from being equipable with + protection items. It should of never happened in the first place.

    The thread started off about PnP but evolved into one about Ankheg needing the exclusion back

    Also, can beast master's wear it? It's not metal so if a druid can wear it, so can a beast master.

    You'll find it during Dorn's quest, not his initial encounter.

    No, it's still AC 1.

    If it's AC1, then it needs to be excluded like it originally was.

    If they change it to AC 2, then I'm fine with it not being excluded.

    2012 patch has been in the works since early/midDecember. Phil just hinted at new stuff, so it may be getting put in the next build.

    Press Print Scrn.
    The screenshot will show up in the BGEE folder in your Documents folder.
